The privacy of our users is important to us. ARvis.it has created this statement to make known our firm commitment to the privacy of its users and ARvis.it’s full compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The following illustrates our approach to the collection and processing of personal data for the website https://www.arvis.it and related services. By using our website, the user explicitly consents to such use of their personal data and accepts the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Pursuant to art. 13 of EU Regulation no. 679/2016 (General Data Protection Regulation or “GDPR”), the user who comes into contact with ARvis.it srl by communicating or providing their personal data must be informed regarding the possession and processing of their personal data by ARvis.it srl, in its capacity as Data Controller, with registered office in Rome, Via Alessandria, no. 88, 00198.

What personal data we collect

ARvis.it collects Personal Data (hereinafter also “Data”) in the event that you choose to register on the site or fill in a contact form.

We ask users to provide the following personal data:

  • first and last name – to identify users and, in the case of registration on the site, to display a unique username in the ARvis.it account (“Account”);
  • email address – to respond to any contact forms or to authenticate users in the event of registration on the site, to provide access to accounts and to help them recover the password to access their accounts;
  • telephone number – to confirm the user’s identity with two-factor authentication where applicable.

The aforementioned data are collected only if the User enters information on their own initiative using the forms present on the ARvis.it site.

We also collect the following technical data:

  • IP address – to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our website, and to identify you and your time spent on our website in order to understand which parts of our website users are visiting and to provide a better user experience;
  • Approximate location (based on the IP address);
  • Operating system and Internet browser data;
  • Hardware specifications (screen size, other specifications);

If you choose not to register or provide personal data, you may still use our website anonymously. However, you will not be able to access the areas that require registration.

The technical data are recorded automatically when you visit our site and are generally anonymous (they do not reveal the user’s identity). However, if you have logged into your account, some of this information may be associated with the user’s account.

We do not link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable. This means, for example, that a user’s session will be tracked, but the user will remain anonymous. We do not use this information for any other purpose.

When you interact with social media buttons (for example “share”, “like”, “tweet”, “+1”, etc.) on our website, or when you use your social account to connect or log in through a social medium, the social networks may record some of the user’s actions.

How we use personal data

We collect and process data for the following purposes:

  • to provide users with a better experience (e.g. to create a personalized user interface);
  • to examine performance issues, bugs and other technical problems relating to the resources;

ARvis.it srl may share NON-personal summary information regarding users with partners or other third parties. However, we will not share information about individual users outside of contracted partners and third parties without first having received the user’s written authorization. In short, ARvis.it srl does not sell the user’s personal data. The data are not subject to dissemination or transfer to third countries or international organizations.

ARvis.it srl may send company news and information, notify and receive feedback on the new services offered only if the user is subscribed to our newsletters or mailing lists for which such consent has been given. Users are able to unsubscribe from newsletters and mailing lists at any time after receiving the first informational message by using the link contained in the informational message or by using the appropriate option in “Account settings”.

How we protect data

Each user’s account is protected by a password so as to guarantee secure access to the www.arvis.it site and to the personal data stored on the website. It is the user’s responsibility to protect the security of their password. We assume no liability in the event of the disclosure of unwanted information due to the insecure handling of one’s passwords.

The data will be processed, in compliance with the necessary security and confidentiality, for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes; they will be relevant, up to date and not excessive with respect to the purposes listed above for which they are collected, and will not be used in operations with different purposes. The processing will take place manually and with the aid of electronic and automated tools (including the collection of data by electronic means, directly from the data subject).

How long the data are used for

We retain the data for as long as necessary to provide the service to users and to comply with our legal obligations. The data are stored and processed only while the user’s account is active and until it is deleted or deactivated.

The account can be temporarily deactivated or permanently deleted at any time using the appropriate options in the portal settings. In any case, any withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given before the withdrawal.

If you choose to delete your account, it will be permanently deleted within 60 days. You can request the restoration of the data until they are permanently deleted.

The possibility of their further retention in fulfilment of any legal obligations or for the protection of rights in legal proceedings is reserved.

How you can control your data: user rights

The user has various rights to control the use and processing of personal data and other information. This means that they have the right to request us to take certain actions at any time and free of charge.

Right of access to data. The user has the right to ask the Data Controller for access to their personal data. Such access is in any case always guaranteed on the www.arvis.it site fully autonomously through the user’s own account, except for temporary malfunctions.

Right to data portability. The user has the right to request a digital copy of their data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format in order to be able to move from one service to another. This can be obtained by sending us an e-mail at the address contatto@arvis.it with the specific request for data portability. ARvis.it srl will provide an electronic file containing the user’s data.

Right to rectification. The user has the right to obtain the rectification of inaccurate data. They have the right to have incomplete personal data completed. To do this, you can use the appropriate settings to modify and complete incomplete personal data in your online profile, or provide us with a supplementary statement by sending an e-mail to contatto@arvis.it.

Right to restriction of processing. The user also has the right to request that we cease processing or using their data in any way, that is, to restrict the processing of personal data. This can be obtained by sending us an e-mail at the address contatto@arvis.it with the specific request to make their data unavailable to everyone, but they will not be deleted, so they can be restored at any time.

Right to erasure (“Right to be forgotten”). The user has the possibility to delete certain data from our site and our services. If you choose to delete your data, they will become unavailable and will be completely erased within 60 days of the erasure request, except for legal obligations.

Right to lodge a complaint with a Supervisory Authority and specifically with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la Protezione dei dati personali).

Minors

ARvis.it does not intentionally collect the personal data of minors according to their applicable local legislation. If you are under 16 years of age, you will need the consent of your parents or other legal guardians before submitting any information to ARvis.it srl through the website, except where such activities are permitted by the laws in force in your Country. If we become aware of the fact that a person under 16 years of age has provided us with personal information without the above-mentioned consent, we will proceed to delete such information.

Public areas

ARvis.it srl may create, host and provide discussion forums, newsgroups, blogs or other public environments to the users of www.arvis.it and to the general public. Any information disclosed in blogs or forums is considered public, and each user is responsible for, and must exercise caution in, disclosing personal data in such areas. ARvis.it srl is not responsible for any action taken as a result of information submitted or received in such areas.
